I am sorry your honor. I only studied theory in law school, and even though I graduated with honors and was an editor for law review, it is not humanly possible for me to answer the most basic legal question that you are asking me. In fact, even though I have been employed by a top-flight law firm for 10 years, I have only worked on matters that have been obscure and useful to my clients, but I have absolutely no practical legal knowledge. In fact, I am not sure how I ended up in your chambers in the first place. However, please accept my argument, because if I do not achieve the right result, I will lose my job and my wife will leave me, since she only married me for my money.
