- Anonymous Aug 04 | 09:53 AM Hey. I think I know Elliott Trokey.
- Smulligan Aug 04 | 11:01 PM Love that partner.
- zak forsman Aug 05 | 02:15 AM she doesn't know what she's missin' dude. buck up.
- bitter end Aug 05 | 07:39 AM very true, but your fellow associates aren't so happy for you, only jealous and bitter.
- Jeana Aug 05 | 03:57 PM "Playoff intensity" .... cute.
- Superman at a desk Aug 05 | 04:28 PM If win was a website this would be it
- Zak Aug 06 | 12:53 AM john, if i was the sort of person who would engage in a "bromance", i'd want it to be with you. but hey, i'm not. nope. cause that would be totally gay. and i'm 100% pure Jud.
- MITzy Aug 06 | 09:03 PM The senior guy in this looks really familiar. Is he on a tv show? I could look it up myself, I guess, but who has the time?
- tv junkie Aug 06 | 11:10 PM yeah, his name is michael silver. think he was on nypd blue. and shark.
- Boudreaux Aug 07 | 01:35 AM Post a link so that I can "digg" this. Keep up the good work, I might make it through my 3L year yet.
- Bitter Fan Aug 07 | 01:38 PM This episode gets a "Capital A"! I'll just be at my desk proof reading until the next one comes out...
- Colleen Aug 07 | 02:42 PM Hilarious- the laughs of "the office" with a much better looking cast.
- Mister Miserable Aug 07 | 03:16 PM This is brilliant!
- so in need of an interesting man that I've turned to web ogling Aug 08 | 12:45 PM I have a crush on Nick. I can't help it.
- Schlitz Aug 08 | 05:23 PM Best video show and website ever. Thank you Rick Eid and crew!!!
- jayci Aug 09 | 12:59 PM Wow...my entire life flashed before my eyes. Thanks for putting this out.
- Tanto Aug 10 | 05:44 PM Guess what, it doesn't get any better when you are married. Somehow it seems that it would be okay if your spouse just got up and left when you explain what happened "today".
- Bill Aug 11 | 01:51 AM Yeah, no kidding. My wife would rather put a bullet in her head than hear what happened to me at the office. The sad thing is, I can't blame her. What seems like high drama during the day ends up just sounding sad and degrading outside of those four walls.
- Lars Aug 13 | 07:12 PM My sig other is also an attorney, but she is about the same when it comes me talking about how great the SP went when we got the guy to admit he owns a boat... her: so what, he owns a boat. me: he owns a boat! a big one! he can afford to pay our client. her: that's great. Rings true.
- Gabu Aug 14 | 11:13 AM This kills, Jerry, it kills!!!!!!!
- Anonymous Aug 16 | 12:48 AM He would order a bottle, not two glasses.
- escape from the law Aug 18 | 09:49 PM well done! that was hilarious! and part of the reason why i left the firm... :)
- jo Aug 19 | 03:52 PM The vid doesn't seem to be working properly
- Defender of the Rich Aug 21 | 09:24 PM I can't get enough.
- steve Aug 22 | 09:04 AM I'd take the waitress home instead.
- Publius Aug 24 | 06:28 PM These comments are like a laugh track on a sitcom. Why would anyone to take them seriously. Your skills seem more suited to doc review. Consider that you may have made the wrong career choice. This isn't a good time to head back to Biglaw but maybe you can get temp work until the economy picks up.
- fatmatt Aug 25 | 09:07 PM What to look forward to when you graduate law school.
- Justin Aug 29 | 08:45 AM Wow.... i thought i was the only one. You got to love DD
- Anonymous Aug 29 | 05:17 PM this is why lawyers have to marry other lawyers.
- HFC Sep 02 | 07:46 AM You, Anonymous Coward, are but another exhibit of what I was talking about, lawyers are idiots.
- Barrister Sep 02 | 01:19 PM One Word: ROCKSTAR!!!
- Biglaw exile Sep 03 | 06:12 PM Anonymous-HFC, cool down! It\'s a comedy. If you get that worked up about a comedy, I worry for you in the workforce. Bitter Lawyer -- very nice commentary on biglaw. Keep up the godo work!
- Belinda G Sep 05 | 02:58 PM As a woman and a lawyer, I agree the woman was wrong on stiffing the lawyer in the restaurant. Finding a typo is sometimes very important, and she didn't understand it. Of course, she probably was not interested in this guy for other reasons. She had a very nice car so she probably had a good job, or another source of income (daddy perhaps). In any event, this woman probably thought she could do better with another guy, but you know what, I think he could do better than her, too, so it's no big loss for him (aside from paying for the wine she never drank). Good work on this segment.
- RE: Anonymous (Angry) Sep 09 | 06:59 AM Angry Anonymous- first learn to spell. Second, try to avoid run on sentences. We can't really get your point. Third, HFC is right. A lot of lawyers are pricks. Limpwristed, egotistical, elitist, butt kissing, socially IRRELEVANT pricks. As for female lawyers, there are some good ones. There are others that just saw a mountain of Monolo's on the other side of their law degree. Whatever...
- English lawyer Sep 12 | 06:22 AM It always amuses me how empassioned the debates get over these videos. They are satirical comedy sketches - not real life, hence the exagerated personanalities and unlikely scenarios. It's even funnier becuase clearly some of you Americans must understand these subtle notions, maybe even irony (this is a US site right) but it seems that a significant number of you reading this site do not. For example, discussing the moral rights and wrongs of whether the girl in this clip should understand how its important to find typos is kind of missing the point. I work for a US firm in London and regularly I find that English humour (yes it has a 'u' in it) goes right over the top of the heads of our US colleagues. So good work LTD/Bitter Lawyer - the rest of you, lighten up, otherwise you risk being as clueless as the people in these clips!
- anon Sep 14 | 08:21 PM Anohter awesome video.
- S Sep 15 | 08:12 PM About fifteen minutes after I saw this video, a classmate of mine texted me on gchat and asked me if I could do her a favor. I replied, "sure," and she hit me back with "You're a rockstar!!" I laughed my ass off and asked if she'd seen LTD, too. She had no idea what I was talking about. That's when I decided that I was no longer interested in OCI...
- Marxist Sep 16 | 02:15 PM Love this stuff. Knocked it out of the park here. A few ideas: 1) the overly emotional yet self-important "I know the law" support staff (and all the law school wannabe college students delivering mail); 2) The Billable Hour Race between associates (there's really a ton that you can do with billables & billing codes); 3) Firm drinking events where a) someone discloses something they wish they hadn't and you wish they hadn't and b) how everyone drinks a ton (nice noting how we all drink scotch) and the next morning everyone is at full sail except for the new associate who's on the floor of his office with a hangover. 4) How there's always one dude like me who numbers and subnumbers every point they make. Ok. That's enough damage off the top of my head. Keep it up man! Love it.
- RE: Marxist... Sep 17 | 05:46 AM You seem like a tool. Thanks. Mgmt.
- kevin K. Shah Sep 19 | 11:34 PM this was GREAT. LOVE IT. Love who send the text
- Al Dickman Oct 03 | 03:50 AM Get with the program, please!
- MJ Nov 15 | 07:08 PM OMG I can't stand it. This is SO funny!
- Shelly Nov 27 | 10:07 AM very funny my fave
- JDDude Dec 04 | 11:21 AM I love the fact that the guys only have a 2 inch stack of paper on the table. Normally you would have 50 boxes all around you.
- Anon Jan 07 | 09:16 AM this is brilliant! I could watch it 40 times
- Steve Jan 18 | 01:37 PM I love the rap theme song
- Chris Feb 19 | 02:18 PM Totally unrealistic - why is he going home when it's still light out?
- Senior Counsel X Apr 27 | 06:09 PM This is right on the f***ing money. It's funny yet depressing all at once. . .
- Bob Loblaw Jun 21 | 03:11 PM So true. Freaking gospel. Only a lawyer could write material like this, because as funny as it is to everyone else- this is our unbelievably trivial lives.
- Ala Federer Aug 24 | 09:55 AM When will there be new material? I have seen this so many times, I can practically recite the script! BTW, why did the woman walk out on him? I do not think he was that much of a dick.
- CJL Dec 21 | 03:35 PM Awesome show. ROCKSTAR!!!!!!
