you don't get it?!?! Aug 27 | 08:19 AM it's hyperbole, people. duh!
  5.
Seriously? Aug 27 | 02:03 PM Of Course, Steve. Gays can't naturally get jobs at Big Firms. Didn't you get the memo?
  6.
Misery Man Aug 27 | 02:15 PM The worst part of being a lawyer is having to hang out with idiot, un-funny lawyers like Steve. Keep the webisodes coming! Great stuff!!
  7.

Paul Aug 28 | 06:08 AM Your videos rock, and they capture biglaw in a nutshell!!!!
  12.
biggglaw Aug 28 | 03:07 PM Love these - great break from doc review. How about a facebook/myspace webisode? I can totally see Nick getting busted with inappropriate things on his site.
  13.
Todd Aug 28 | 04:25 PM I agree with Lauren, definitely need more scenes with 'Nick' in the blue speedo... but that might be unprofessional.

Bitter Paralegal Aug 29 | 09:34 AM I'm a paralegal now, but spent 20 years with high tech startups, and just want to say this really rings true with that environment too: same egos, same ridiculous pressures and meaningless work assignments. Keep up the good work!
  15.
Neal H. Paster Aug 29 | 10:50 AM Just thought I would let you know that these short episodes are very well done -production and acting-wise. Reminded me why I chose to avoid big-firm employment out of law school, too. Maybe one of the networks might want to pick this up and run with it as a weekly series? I'd be watching.
  16.
LawyerBallstein Aug 29 | 05:38 PM Wow- that delivery girl is HOTT! Why isn't she in more episodes? Great episode- can totally relate.
  17.
Cath Aug 29 | 05:54 PM These are ALL AWESOME. Can't wait for the next one.
  18.
Coolharley Aug 30 | 06:37 AM These are no less than brilliant. Been there and done that, and can relate 100%. Anyone who says "I don't get it" deserves no explanation. Lets hope for a tv miniseries with Nick; keep up the awesome work.
  19.
TS Aug 30 | 12:09 PM Anyone if the "theme song" is available publicly or who does it?
  20.
'Tico Aug 30 | 04:14 PM Great concept! Scripts are witty and relevant! Principal actors are ready-for-prime-time....simply stated...it works! I"ve seen all the episodes and would someone please tell HBO to "pick this webisode pilot up" for development into a HBO series. These are characters that EVERYONE, not just lawyers, can instantly recognize and relate to! Larry David, make room...
  21.
Makin the cream? Sep 01 | 02:25 AM Brilliant. Nick IS a rockstar!!!! The theme song is awesome, too. Can you post a link to a site where we might download it?
  22.
Ajai Sep 03 | 12:02 AM I like the attempt (and it is well acted with high production quality, to be sure), but I'm not crazy about the writing. I'm a third year transactional atty at a firm, and there's something not exact about this (not just this episode, all 5 to date). To me, this portrays more of what people think firm life is about and less what it actually is. I suppose I'm looking for more truth, less feeding into expectations.
  23.
Devin Sep 03 | 12:22 AM Hmmmm. What's more fun and entertaining to watch: the actual, honest truth or satire? Still thinking..... This is hard!
  24.
Anon Sep 03 | 05:57 AM Hey ajai, it's supposed to be a tv show, not a documentary about your stupid life. Idiot.
  25.
Ajai Sep 03 | 08:22 AM Productive comment, Anon. Well done! And, I understand how TV and satire works. Satire, for me, works better when it is based on some kernel of truth that is explored and heightened to a ridiculous level. All I was saying by my comment is that the "kernels of truth" here, as it were, are more cliche that I would have hoped. "Typo", for instance, worked better for me because the starting point was more grounded in reality -- junior firm lawyers do get praised for finding typos, so it was fun to see that made to be as ridiculous as it is through satire. I still watched each episode and was entertained, but I would like it better if the starting point of each episode, at least, was more grounded in reality. That's all.
  26.
Ajai Sep 03 | 08:23 AM Whoops! Can you spot my typo?
  27.
Dontcha Know Sep 03 | 11:41 AM Ajai has a point. The red wine episode is not realistic. Also, when is the associate going to screw something up, get chewed out for it, worry he will lose his job, then have the "mistake" not matter in the least because nothing the associate does matters to the client. The futility of the associate's work needs to be drawn out more. Nothing a junior associate does matters to the partner, to the client or to anyone except the junior associate who lives his life in constant fear. That's the misery of the junior associate's life, but also a great source of humor. The joke should also be on the junior associate and the futility of his existence.

Anonymous Sep 03 | 12:06 PM Let's get the next one out. We're all anxiously awaiting a romantic rendevous between our star and the BFW.
  29.
Anonymous Sep 05 | 10:09 AM Can't really relate to this one. I'm straight and have worked with plenty of gay and straight colleagues. Never have a had a gay colleague hit on me inappropriately and never have I fantasized about a gay colleague. I won't say that I find this webisode offensive, but it's just lame. People comfortable with their own sexuality aren't going to be threatened by working with a colleague of a non-compatible sexuality.
  30.
Realist Sep 05 | 01:36 PM Hey, Anon, can you relate to Tony Soprano?
  31.
Belinda G. Sep 05 | 02:48 PM I think most of us agree this particular segment was not up to par with the others, but go light on the authors. They have day jobs too. Not every episode will be a blockbuster, and this gay stuff was understandibly dull. No straight guy I know fantasizes about doing it with a homo. No matter how many documents you've reviewed, sucking face (or worse) with a homo does not look better. We will wait for the next episode before determining that these authors have run dry with good ideas. For now, the price is right.

NC Sep 06 | 07:19 AM Hilarious and to the point as always! The way your mind spins under non-stop work and you can lose perspective of who you are...The scene with Tai Chi was really really funny! Congrats, you are the best and the acting is really great!
  33.
anon Sep 14 | 08:09 PM Why the **** don't your awesome videos get more exposure? Get yourself out there man these are awesome.
