Anonymous Sep 10 | 03:01 PM A bit like the Red Wine episode. This guy needs a bigger set of Cohones. Either tell the partner early that he didn't go to Yale, or just NOT show up at the party and make an ass of himself. He can always tell the partner later. This partner is not nearly the douchebag as the other asswipe from Harvard with whom he interviewed, but he's still old-school. The only REALISTIC thing about this segment was the fact that the female associate that went to Yale was fat and homely. In point of fact, I have met at least 10 Yale Law School women and not one of them have been even remotely attractive. Either they were small and whiny (about 3); or fat and dumpy (about 7). All were smart, mind you, but when you're horny, you're simply not interested in their IQ's. Lesson, stay away from the Yale women, unless you're looking for a meal ticket.

Anonymous Sep 11 | 07:27 AM Not only that, but the woman who the commenter below is talking about is the Yalie partner's loyal secretary, not an associate. She worships her boss so much she actually learned some of the Yale songs. BTW, I went to Yale (undergrad) and I thought this episode (like the previous ones) was hilarious, if a little over the top.

Anonymous Sep 11 | 12:15 PM Many columnists and barstool philosophers have tried to analyze the dating situation at Yale. As Valentine's Day approaches, it's time to put this debate on a new plane. Commentators thus far have missed the point entirely: most Yalies don't deserve to be dated at all. We are one of the most unattractive campuses in the nation, and it's time to recognize our deficiencies and stop complaining. Yale women on the Yale man: "Yale guys are generally shorter and/or uglier than other guys. Most of the tall, good-looking guys are jerks, slimeballs, players, scum- bags, ogres, insensitive buffoons, what have you. Either that, or they completely lack the cojones to make a move. Any remaining men are already taken or are dating each other." Yale men on the Yale woman: "All Yale girls are dogs." Obviously there are exceptions. One day I burst into my room, filled with enthusiasm, saying I had just met an incredibly cute girl, who was indeed a Yalie. Unimpressed, my roommate asked, "Psycho or taken?" As it turned out, she was both. Yale women defend each other in one of two ways. (Yale men, by contrast, don't bother to defend each other at all.) First they say, "I know plenty of attractive women." With humble apologies, I'll dismiss this as an obvious, though forgiveable, bias towards one's friends. Then they say, "Yale women would all be beautiful if you didn't see them in sweatpants and no makeup all the time." But that's the brainwashing of Cosmo. What happened to natural beauty?

Anonymous Sep 13 | 11:21 AM It's time for our hero to 1) get some more guts; 2) take a shave and 3) go out and get a lady. So many episodes with him as a hapless schmuck is becoming predictable and boring.

Unknown Oct 03 | 08:31 PM Great series. Keep it as it is (Nick always running into awkward situations). The law school thing is a realistic issue that comes up in legal practice. Keep up the good work (make a dvd out of the series as well).

NCLawyer Oct 17 | 04:17 PM Great episode as always ... I had an interview like this once where I could not get a word in edgewise to correct an assumption, then at the end when the interviewer finally read my resume he acted like I was a liar. What is up with the a-hole comments about the looks of female lawyers? Most of the female lawyers (under 40) that I meet are attractive. They are also mostly married. Maybe it's the tiredness factor for the folks trapped in BigLaw, and they look older and greyer under the flourescent light than they really are, especially since they wear nothing but black and charcoal grey all the time.

Anonymous Nov 12 | 04:14 AM What the f*** is wrong with this website? It's a technical nightmare; generally takes forever to load, and now isn't loading at all. Your tech guys ought to fix this rather than trying to get laid.
