Well, it appears the lawyers have finally become involved in the “Ecce Homo” fresco fiasco involving Cecilia Gimenez, an 80-year old woman, who performed a horrific DIY restoration of a 19th-century painting of Christ in Spain. The restored fresco has since been dubbed “Ecce Mono” or “Behold the Monkey.” Ms. Gimenez is demanding a cut of the cover charge the Spanish church is now charging pilgrims who are flocking to behold the monkey.
